Rip off merchants

Same as other people have found to their cost these "people" are complete con artists. Soooooo nice and friendly prior to renting but complete change of attitude when I returned the scooters me and my 3 older teenage children had rented. They accused us of having crashed the scooters and scratched them,they demanded $50 per scooter, this was completely laughable as the scooters were already in very poor condition when we rented them, including rear brakes not working and rear view mirrors missing and falling off. An ugly and threatening shouting match ensued between us when I was told that I would not be getting my deposit returned due to the "damage" caused. The other scooter renters on the quayside all joined in berating me and it is obvious these guys work this scam regularly on others and I would not get anywhere. I post this so others may be warned to NOT RENT FROM THESE thieves on the quayside. Cruiselines informed who will be re emphasising to passengers not to rent.

Very nice when renting. Wife took a fall and scratched her scooter. They wouldn't allow her to get back on the ship to tend her bleeding knee or foot, even though I was handling the situation. The scooter had scratches on the side, but no more then ALL their bikes. They charged me an additional $150 for repairs that I'm sure were never fixed. The ship does NOT recomend renting, but the reason may be because of this companies mob attitude if there is a problem, and their rip-off mentality.
