POLICE were tightlipped yesterday on whether an autopsy has been performed on the body of murdered 11-year-old Marco Archer who was found dead in bushes in western New Providence 22 days ago.
Since discovering Marco's badly decomposed remains, police still have his body in custody and have not released any autopsy information.
His family said this has hindered their grieving process and prevented them from making funeral arrangements or begin the healing process.
"If we did get the body, we would have already laid my brother to rest," said the boy's sister Tancia Humes.
She said she hopes police do not push Marco's case to the backburner.
