Jung Society Dinner Presentation

The Jung Society of Nassau invites the public to a special dinner presentation on Bob Marley: Man, Myth and Music. Dr. Rick Overman examines the archetypes manifest in Marley's life and music and what his powerfully emotional image carries for the collective psyche.
Dr. Overman is a Florida-licensed psychologist. He received his Diploma in Analytical Psychology from the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and his Master's Degree in Religious Studies from Indiana University.
Start Time: September 18th at 6:00pm

Jung Society Presents: Bishop John Shelby Spong on Christianity

The Jung Society of Nassau, in association with New Providence Community Center, present Bishop John Shelby Spong on “The Christ Call to a New Vision of Oneness”.
Bishop Spong explores the dimensions of a new way to understand Jesus in the 21st century and explains that Christianity is not necessarily a call to be religious.

The Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise needs your help...

Sunrise's Reading Fair will be held on Saturday March 12th 2010, between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, on the grounds of COB’s Band Shell, Poinciana Drive.
March is literacy month for Rotary around the world and this event is a very special one for our Club. The Reading Fair (RF) has been in existence since 2006 and we look forward to celebrating our 5th year with greater success. We are expecting 600-800 kids to attend and will need lots of help.
There will be an informational meeting at COB's Chapter One Bookstore on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 6pm to 7pm to discuss assignments. There will also be an information booth at the fair for all volunteers to check-in.
Please see the attached flyer(s) with the event schedule and general information about the event. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Tanya Woodside at 376-2001.
