Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fine Arts Department will host ASAPH 2014, May 15th-18th at The Diplomat Center, Carmichael Road. This highly anticipated praise and worship experience will be held under the theme “Rediscovering & Restoring Kingdom Worship in the 21st Century” and is expected to attract Praise & Worship Leaders, Praise Teams, Choirs, Dance Ministries, Drama Ministries and many others from throughout the Bahamas, the Caribbean and around the world.

A.S.A.P.H which is an acronym and stands for “Always Sanctified Always Praising Him” was founded by the late Pastor Dr. Mark Anthony Bethel here in the Bahamas and since its launch, the event has cemented itself as the premier praise and worship conference in the region. Dr. Bethel’s vision was to create an annual event where praise and worship leaders, praise teams, liturgical dancers and other fine arts ministers could not only gather in an environment of corporate worship but to also submit themselves to intense training and sound biblical teaching. Before his passing in 2012, Dr. Bethel was able to see the expansion of his vision with branches of ASAPH successfully launched in the US. Virgin Islands, the United States and in Paris France.

This year ASAPH, which will return since the death of its founder is now under the leadership of the new Fine Arts Director at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, Minister Tracy Knowles. Building on the strong foundation established by Dr. Mark Bethel, Minister Knowles and his team have now re-branded the event as “The ASAPH Worship & Arts Leadership Training Congress 2014”.

The training congress will commence on Thursday May 15th with an opening production and teaching session with Senior Pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International Dr. Myles Munroe. It will be during the opening night session that Dr. Mark Bethel will be honored for his years of dedication and contribution to the development and advancement of Praise & Worship and the Fine Arts Ministry not only here in the Bahamas but throughout the region and around the world. A special presentation will be made to his family who will be in attendance.

The congress will continue on Friday May 16th with special music presentations and a teaching session with Minister Tracy Knowles. On Saturday May 17th there will a variety of special workshops including sessions for Worship Leaders, Praise Teams, Choirs, Singers, Musicians, Dancers, Pantomime and Spoken Word Ministers as well as those involved in the Drama ministry and for the first time a session will be offered for those who desire to become Ventriloquists. Later that evening organizers have planned a Worship Healing Experience which will serve as a Night of Fine Arts Celebration. The weekend will conclude on Sunday May 18th with a special ASAPH Kingdom Celebration at Bahamas Faith Ministries beginning at 10:00am. All evening sessions are Free but there is a registration fee of $35 for those interested in attending the special workshops on Saturday May 17th 2014.
