St. Thomas More Primary School's choir stole the show with their rendition of "The Myth of Atlantis" to capture the 2nd annual Books Bringing The Beats song competition for primary and junior school choirs.

The competition required participants to bring the wondrous world of Atlantis to life through song, and was hosted in the Atlantis Theater. The winner was determined based on originality, composition, melody, lyrics and performance.

Through the song competition, Atlantis hopes to help eradicate illiteracy in the country. The Atlantis Against Illiteracy initiative, the brainchild of Atlantis librarian, Stephaney Davis, hopes to foster a love and desire for reading through creative and fun ways with the ultimate aim of giving the nation's youth every opportunity to succeed and thrive at every possible reading level.

Student choirs from Gerald Cash, Garvin Tynes, Meridian, Hope Academy, St. Cecelia's, and The Remnant Academy also showcased their talents during the competition.
