Newly-launched micro-loan program, Omni FlashCA$H, is set to be expanded with loans soon to be available to non-government workers and customers in the family islands.
The product is designed to provide fast, affordable financial relief to borrowers struggling with challenging economic times.
As of December, FlashCA$H began providing payday loans, ranging from $250 to $1500. It is the newest product of technology money services company Omni-Mango.
Several other innovative products and services are planned for release to the Bahamas market early this year.
"FlashCA$H is a competitive alternative for our customers who need small loans, at a low cost and with great ease," said Mango's Chief Executive Officer Barry Malcolm.
"Our payday advance product offers the lowest interest rates in the market by far, as a way to help customers affordably meet their short-term cash needs.
"For customers with an immediate need for cash, we have put in place the best system to process applications in the most timely and efficient manner possible."
Presently, FlashCA$H is being offered to public sector

workers with salary deduction and repayment terms up to six months. Launch to the private sector will soon follow. Reaction to the soft launch of the product confirms strong demand for micro-loans of this kind in the local market, according to company executives.
The launch of FlashCA$H comes as many in the market struggle to maintain quality of life amidst continuing tough economic times. Customers can now visit Omni Money Transfer on Frederick Street and at Marathon Mall with the required documents -- Valid I.D., National Insurance Card, Job Letter, Pay Slip and Proof of Address -- and start their application process.
FlashCA$H will be offered shortly in the Family Islands as Omni-Mango extends to the entire country its products and services.
"We have a full suite of complementary products and services being readied for market," said Malcolm.
"As with FlashCA$H, they are all designed to provide to our customers easy and innovative means to handle finances and payments."
Sun Transfer Holdings Limited and Transfer Solutions Providers Limited are affiliated Bahamian companies operating in The Bahamas since 2005, with core competencies in remittances, advanced software, networking and hardware technology.
Omni-Mango's product offerings include new technology and electronic payment solutions to clients in a range of industries.
