Russian player Dmitry Ponomarev has beaten Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden heads-up to take the title, trophy and $117,580 first prize in the $2k NL event (#15) which started Thursday with 302 runners. The total prize pool was $585,880 and 39 players were paid. Lodden got $78,100 for second. Zachary Korik, “Weeds” producer Matt Salsberg, PCA runner-up Chris Oliver, EPT Grand Final champion Mohsin Charania, Danny Stiegler – who won the PCA 2014 $2k Nl Turbo, Shannon Shorr and Estrellas Barcelona winner Lorenzo Sabato were among the 39 who cashed.
