Scouts donate food to senior citizens facility

By DENISE MAYCOCK Tribune Freeport Reporter dmaycock@tribunemedia.net FREEPORT - The Grand Bahama District of the Scout Association of the Bahamas recently donated food to Raybertha's Citizens Centre, an assisted living facility for senior citizens. Clayton Curtis, acting district commissioner, said the Scouts also interacted with seniors during their visit to the facility on Thursday. He noted that such activities "help to develop a sense of duty and service in the boys as well as fulfilling a mandate to encourage responsible citizenship."
