FamGuard Corporation recently presented its annual scholarship grant to the College of The Bahamas which will provide tuition assistance for six students for the academic year 2013/2014.

The Company’s scholarship programme began in 1988 and since its inception has provided over $400,000 in financial aid to more than 200 students from New Providence and the Family Islands. Scholarship recipients are selected by COB based on qualifying criteria determined by FamGuard in partnership with the College.

In making the presentation to COB executives, FamGuard’s President, Patricia Hermanns, noted that the long-standing relationship with the College reflects the Company’s unwavering commitment to youth development and nation building.
