TB Case Confirmed at St. Anne's School

A confirmed case of tuberculosis (TB) has led to widespread testing at St. Anne's School, The Nassau Guardian has confirmed. A teacher at the Fox Hill school was diagnosed with the infectious disease last week, Health Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis said. As a result, staff and students at the school were tested on Monday. Dr. Minnis said that after the case was confirmed at Doctors Hospital, the Ministry of Health was immediately informed. He added that ministry officials went to the school and informed its Parent Teacher Association about the confirmed case.
