Enclosed is a statement by Prime Minister the Rt. Hon.
Hubert Ingraham, who addressed potential investors at reception held by
the Bahamas Maritime Authority Monday in Hong Kong. Prime Minister Ingraham was also hosted Monday to a luncheon held by officials of Hutchison Whampoa.

I am very happy
for the opportunity to be present at celebrations marking the opening
of the newest Bahamas Maritime Authority Office. This is our third
overseas office, the others being located in London and in New York
City. We are now pleased to have offices on three continents....
