GENERAL SITUATION: A broad area of low pressure coupled with rich tropical moisture will continue to fuel pockets of unsettled weather mainly across the Northwest & Central Bahamas today.

Thursday 19th
– Partly sunny with few showers and isolated thunderstorms; fair and warm tonight with the chance of a passing shower over the Northwest & Central Bahamas; whereas, the Southeast Bahamas will enjoy partly to mostly sunny conditions, hot with a chance of few isolated showers; fair tonight with the chance of showers. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Winds NE – E 10 knots or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and light & variable elsewhere. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.

Friday 20th – Partly sunny with few showers and isolated thunderstorms across the Northwest & Central Bahamas; mostly sunny and hot with few showers possible elsewhere. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Winds NE at 10 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and NW at 10 knots or less in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2 - 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 3 feet or less elsewhere.

Saturday 21st – Mostly sunny and hot with a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms across the Northwest & Central Bahamas; partly to mostly cloudy with few showers and thunderstorms in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Winds light & variable. Seas less than 3 feet over the ocean.

Wednesday 25th – Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms however, for the Northwest Bahamas the weather may become severe at times. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 76°F. Winds E at 10 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E at 15 – 20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4 – 6 feet in the Southeast Bahamas. Small Craft Caution in effect for residents in the Southeast Bahamas.
