A coroner's inquest into the circumstances of the death of a man who died during a drug bust has been adjourned to a date to be determined.

Anthony Gibson, 36, was reportedly aboard a boat off South Bimini that was being chased by the Drug Enforcement Unit on May 27, 2011.

Police arrested three other men and seized 647 pounds of marijuana.

At the time of the incident, police said that Gibson was cut up by the boat's propeller.

The inquest was supposed to convene before Acting Coroner Jeanine Weech-Gomez yesterday.

However, the Office of the Attorney General was not ready to proceed.

A fixture hearing will be held at another date.
