Bailey, Ferguson-McKenzie determined to keep running

Debbie-Ferguson-230x300.jpg NEW YORK - Two of the Caribbean's oldest female sprinters are determined to be selected unto their respective national teams and a chance to compete at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Moscow, Russia this August (10-18).

 Jamaican Aleen Bailey, 32, and Debbie Ferguson-McKenzie of the Bahamas, who turned 37 earlier this year, have both set their sights on qualifying for the World Championships.

Bailey is sound in the belief that this could be her breakthrough year and gave hints after winning the Women's 100 metres at the Adidas Grand Prix at Icahn
