Scotiabank (Bahamas) Ltd. joined other organizations around the world and participated in the Autism "Light it up Blue" campaign. "Light it up Blue", in its fourth year, is a unique global initiative that seeks to shine the light on Autism by engaging community partners to show their support for the fight against the disorder by lighting up their surroundings in blue for the month of April.

Recently, Scotiabank employees dressed in blue to help kick off the "Light it up Blue" campaign. Staff from the Bay Street East branch assembled on the outside of the branch and released balloons into the air, highlighting Autism as a growing health concern. To show its support in The Bahamas, Scotiabank made a donation to Resources and Education for Autism and Related Challenges (R.E.A.C.H.), a local support and advocacy group.
