Artist Antonius Roberts answers this week's Twenty Questions from Guardian Arts&Culture.

1. What's been your most inspirational moment in the last five years?
My most inspirational moment in the last five years was when Orjan Lindroth, the developer of Schooner Bay, invited me to be a founding member of the Schooner Bay Community in South Abaco.

2. What's your least favorite piece of artwork?
I have no least favorite or favorite piece of artwork. For me, each piece of art teaches, inspires, motivates or transforms.

3. What's your favorite period of art history?
The Italian Renaissance! Having had the opportunity to travel to Rome and Florence, where I experienced the magnitude and brilliance of Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Bernini, was transformative!

4. What are your top 5 movies of all time?
Sad to say that I am not an avid movie buff! However I do plan to go and see the new James Bond movie!

5. Coffee or tea?
Italian espresso made the old fashion way with a touch of French vanilla creamer.

6. What book are you reading now?
"Giving: How each of us can change the world", by Bill Clinton

7. What project are you working on now?
My installation for the new airport and the Tree of Trees for Baha Mar.

8. What's the last show that surprised you?

NE6! Absolutely outstanding and world class!

9. Saxons, One Family, Valley Boys or Roots?
They are all incredible groups dedicated to preserving the art and culture of Junkanoo.

10. If you had to be stranded on one Family Island which one would it be?
Exuma or maybe Eleuthera or Abaco as my family ties are in each of these.

11. What's the most memorable artwork you've ever seen?
"The Ecstasy of St Theresa" by Bernini.

12. Which artist do you have a secret crush on?
Alicia Keys!

13. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be?
My daughter!

14. Who do you think is the most important Bahamian in the country's history?
I am not sure this can be determined. There are so many individuals who have contributed to change and development in this country.

15. Who is your favorite living artist?
I am blessed to know and work with so many wonderful artists here in The Bahamas, Tyrone Ferguson, John Beadle, John Cox, Heino Schmid, Kendal Hanna, Max Taylor, Jessica Colebrooke. These are the people who inspire me most.

16. Sunrise or Sunset?
Sunset!

17. What role does the artist have in society?
To provoke, to agitate and ask the tough questions.

18. What's your most embarrassing moment?
Too many to share!

19. What wouldn't you do without?
Art and love.

20. What's your definition of beauty?
Having the ability to celebrate what is right with the world and appreciate what is.
