Central Bank: Unemployment to remain high

The Central Bank is sticking to its earlier predictions that modest growth is expected from 2011, with unemployment levels set to remain high in the near term.
It's information coming down in the bank's monthly report for August 2010.
"Expectations are that the domestic economy will continue to stabilize over the remainder of 2010, with modest growth projected from 2011, amid the outlook for a more sustained recovery in the global economy,"said the report."With ongoing weakness in consumer and business spending, unemployment is projected to stay elevated in the near term."
