Andros: There have been lots of mahi and yellofin tuna caught at the north bouy at the end of last week.
Abaco: There was a report last week from the Treasure Cay Marina that there was a bluefin tuna (estimated in the 600lb range) that was hooked and lost at boat side.
Long Island, Clarence Town: The dockmaster at Flying Fish Marina reports that the mahi and wahoo fishing has been good on the Simms Bar in front of Clarence town and the Diana Bank further south. The tuna have been a bit scarce. Flying Fish Marina flyingfishmarina@batelnet.bs
Grand Bahama, Freeport: There have been plenty of catches of small to mid size mahi, wahoo and tuna offshore.
Cat Island, Hawks Nest: The report is that here are so many mahi that it has been difficult to catch anything else! Hawks Nest just finished their "Hang 'em High" tournament with "Full Time" winning with a 68lb wahoo. There have also been a few marlin caught and released.
