Plane crashes in Lake Killarney all onboard confirmed dead

AS many as eight or nine people are reported dead following the crash of a charter plane in Lake Killarney this morning.
The nine-seater Cessna 402 aircraft was reportedly carrying people to San Salvador for the island's homecoming on the upcoming holiday weekend.
According to Inspector Delvin Major, an accident investigator with Civil Avaition, the pilot was Nelson Hanna and the plane was operated by the company Acklins Blue.
Mr Major said Mr Hanna had a commercial licence, but was not an AOC holder, which means he was not authorised to operate private charters.
A press conference will be held at 4pm at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
