Poisonings and pet safety issues

BECAUSE we live in a tropical region of the world and in an archipelagic country- a group of many islands in a large body of water there is always an over abundance of tropical pests such as insects, spiders, snails, rodents and weeds.

And each day we see on TV or hear on radio, a new product on the market to eliminate the problematic pests, but sometimes at a huge price. All too often our pets are the unintended targets of these chemicals.

The summer seems to be a risky time or our pets. The long warm days of summer will put our pets at increase risk to injuries, fleas and ticks etc. Also during this time there is an increase usage of household pesticides and chemicals around ...
