GENERAL SITUATION: A COLD FRONT IN VICINITY OF GREAT INAGUA WILL BECOME NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH TUESDAY THEREAFTER LIFTING NORTHWARD AS A WARM FRONT TUESDAY NIGHT. THE AFOREMENTIONED FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL DISSIPATE LATE WEDNESDAY AS IT MERGES WITH A WEAK BOUNDARY ACROSS THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS. A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL BECOME ESTABLISHED ACROSS THE ISLAND THURSDAY AND REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH SUNDAY RESULTING IN WARM, PLEASANT, AND MILD WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Monday 18th – Partly Sunny, Breezy and quite Comfortable during the day in the Northwest and Central Bahamas with Mostly Cloudy and Windy conditions prevailing in the Southeast Bahamas along with Isolated Showers near the frontal boundary; Maximum Temperature 73°F. Mostly Fair and Breezy at night in the Northwest and Central Bahamas, and Partly Cloudy and Windy in the Southeast Bahamas with Isolated Showers along the front; Minimum Temperature 62°F. Winds NE-E 15-20 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; Seas 4-7 feet over open waters. Winds NE-E 20-25 knots in the Southeast Bahamas; Seas 6-9 feet over open waters. Small craft caution in effect for the Northwest and Central Bahamas while an advisory is in effect for the Southeast Bahamas.

Tuesday 19th – Partly Sunny and Warm during the day with Isolated Showers along the frontal boundary and still Breezy in the Central and Southeast Bahamas; Maximum Temperature 78F. Partly Cloudy and a bit Cool at night with lingering Showers in vicinity of the front; Minimum Temperature 68°F. Winds E-SE 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas but decreasing to 10 knots or less by evening; Seas 3-5 feet. Winds E’LY 15-20 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas but decreasing by evening. Small craft caution in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas.

Wednesday 20th – Partly Sunny and Warm during the day over ALL areas with Isolated Showers along the dissipating frontal boundary; Maximum Temperature 81°F. Mostly Fair and somewhat Cool at night with few Isolated Showers continuing near the front; Minimum Temperature 69ºF. Wind E-SE 10-15 knots ahead (East) of the front and N-NE 10-15 knots behind (West) of the front during the day but becoming N-NE 10-15 knots at night over ALL areas; Seas 3-5 feet over open waters.

Thursday 21st – Most Sunny and Warm during the day; Maximum Temperature 83°F. Fair and Mild at night; Minimum Temperature 71ºF. Winds E’LY 10-15 knots over ALL areas; Seas 2-4 feet over open waters

Friday 22nd – Mostly Sunny and quite Warm during the day over ALL areas; Maximum Temperature 84°F. Mostly Fair and Mild at night; Minimum Temperature 72ºF. Winds E-SE, 10-15 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; Seas 2-4 feet over open waters. Winds E’LY 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas; Seas 3-5 feet over open waters.

Saturday 23rd – Mostly Sunny and very Warm during the day; Maximum Temperature 85°F. Mostly Fair at night; Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds SE-S, 15 knots over ALL areas but gusty at times; Seas 3-5 feet over open waters.

Sunday 24th – Partly Sunny and very Warm during the day; Maximum Temperature 85°F. Mostly Fair and Mild at night; Minimum Temperature 73°F. Winds SE-S, 10-15 knots over ALL areas; Seas 2-4 feet over open waters.
