Freeport, Grand Bahama - The staff of Bahamasair held a fun run-walk & mini fair under the theme "Strut for the cure" in support of breast cancer awareness month this past Saturday 20 October 2012.

Three staff members are presently undergoing treatment for cancer and so the event was in aid of medical expense on their behalf. Despite the early morning showers which delayed the event for 20 minutes, participants turned out was tremendous.

A number of cancer survivors and local dedicated runners and walkers attended the event and as a result of the show of support, the committee has agreed to make this an annual event.
