Launching Debate

Public Hospitals Authority (Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre) unveils plans for the first psychiatric debate on mental illness. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Dent-plan Centre on Thursday, September 16. Pictured left to right: Dr. Curtis McMillan, son of the late Dr. Curtis McMillan, whose contributions to the medical field will be commemorated during the debate; Dr. Kirk Christie, co-chairperson of the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre committee and Ms. Patrice Hall, committee member. The debate will be held under the theme: “All Persons in society have the potential to develop a mental health disorder.” It is scheduled for Monday, November 15 at the Church of God on Bernard Road.
