FNM concedes defeat in North Abaco by-election

Today marks the first time in more than 20 years north Abaconians will vote for a parliamentary representatives without Hubert Ingraham on the ballot.

By the end of the day, they will have selected either the PLP's Renardo Curry or the FNM's Greg Gomez or the Constitution Party's Ali McIntosh as the new voice of North Abaco in the House of Assembly.

More than 4,500 voters are eligible to participate in today's poll. The polls are open now and will close at 6 p.m.

A couple of the polling divisions are in remote areas, which posed a particular challenge for officials with the Parliamentary Registration Department.
