Bishop Earl Randolph Fraser to testify, call witnesses in case

Baptist Bishop Earl Randolph Fraser will testify and call 25 witnesses as he mounts a defense to allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a teenager who had come to him for counseling.
Fraser, pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Temple on St. James Road, is being tried for allegedly having sex with the 17-year-old teen. Prosecutors allege that Fraser abused his position of trust by beginning the alleged affair during counseling sessions from July 2005 to February 2006.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Carolita Bethell said she wants to complete the case before the end of the year. However, lead defense lawyer Wayne Munroe was not present ...
