Dear Editor,

I (like many others) wish to pay tribute to the late Paul Adderley. I first met Adderley shortly after I was elected to Parliament in 1987 and very quickly came to regard him as a highly intelligent person who was dedicated to serving our country.

In his capacity as minister of various portfolios, he was always quick to respond (with action) to any issues I brought to his attention, particularly those concerning the constituency I represented.

The Bahamas has lost a great man who will be long remembered for the significant contributions he made to its development. - Fred F. Gottlieb
