THE staff and students of Carmichael Primary School were elated to see Minister of Education Desmond Bannister, who decided to visit them for their first assembly of the new school year. Through song, prayer and poetry, the assembly focused on the theme "Respect", and the students who performed asked their peers to make excellence, service, participation, attention, preparation and encouragement their watch words.
