Amateur Boxing Federation of the Bahamas gets a new home

By BRENT STUBBS Senior Sports Reporter bstubbs@tribunemedia.net AFTER a year of inactivity, the Boxing Gym at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex is now the home of the Amateur Boxing Federation of the Bahamas. In a take over ceremony that was held last week, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Charles Maynard, turned the newly renovated facilities to the ABFB, headed by president Wellington Miller. "About a year ago, we took this particular facility out of service to do some much needed renovations to the exterior, interior and redo the bathrooms, some of the plumbing work and the office," Maynard said.
