The Bahamas will be hosting significant international Track & Field events, the Carifta Games in 2013 and the World Relays in 2014 and 2015 According to our records, a team from Jamaica which included superstar Keith Gardner, was the first foreign team to participate in The Bahamas when the 1953 Coronation Meet was held.
