Police are investigating an apparent suicide in Abaco. According to Superintendent Leon Bethell, the head of the Central Detective Unit, a caucasian male was found hanging in his home in Pelican Shores, Marsh Harbour at 7 a.m. Sunday.
Bethell said friends of the male cut him down and tried to help him, but he was already dead.
The unidentified man's death is the third apparent suicide in the past month. Acassia Porter was discovered by a family member in a bedroom in their St. Vincent Road home last week.
