I am Stewart Gill, General Manager of Rubis  Bahamas Limited.

Rubis is a French based publicly traded fuels company.   Rubis has operations across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.   The business in Europe consists of fuel terminalling operations and LPG distribution, in Africa LPG distribution and in the Caribbean, the distribution of refined fuels, lubricants and LPG.  Rubis acquired Chevron’s (formerly Texaco) fuel businesses in the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos and the Cayman Islands on April 30, 2012 to grow its presence in the Caribbean to 17 countries.

We survived the worst economic crisis since the great depression. These matters were compounded by a steady rise in the price of oil, thereby increasing the cost of petrol at the pumps.

We need it in some form, in order to get our kids to school, a loved one to a clinic, and for business and recreation whether by air, land or sea.
