Old Bahama Bay Resort temporarily shuts down

FREEPORT - Old Bahama Bay Resort has temporarily shut down its operations to allow for employee vacation and annual improvements and maintenance at the property in West End.

Derek Gape, project manager at Ginn Sur Mer, said the resort will be closed for four weeks and will reopen on October 10.

"It is our vacation shut-down, and what that does is permit us to go in and do renovations and improvements," he said.

Mr Gape said maintenance works will be carried out to the docks and the hotel.
