Visitor found dead in his hotel room

By DENISE MAYCOCK Tribune Freeport Reporter dmaycock@tribunemedia.net FREEPORT: An elderly male visitor was discovered dead in his room at the Coral Beach Hotel yesterday. The body was discovered shortly before noon when people smelled a foul odour coming from the room. Police are withholding the man's identity pending notification of next of kin. Asst Supt Hector Delva, assistant press officer, said the deceased is a caucasian male in his 70s. "Upon entering the room, police discovered the partially decomposed body of an elderly man," he said. Police

do not suspect foul play, and are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
