SANDALS RESORTS AND TLC’s RANDY FENOLI BROUGHT TOGETHER NEARLY 1,000 BRIDES-TO-BE FOR THE ULTIMATE DESTINATION WEDDING PARTY AT GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL IN NYC

Sandals Resorts Unveiled All-New Customizable Wedding Concept with Day of Authentic Caribbean Experiences, Spa Treatments and Surprise Honeymoon Giveaways

NEW YORK, NY (June 15, 2012) – Sandals Resorts kicked off wedding season with a star-studded, interactive bridal experience at Grand Central Terminal on June 14, 2012. With TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress star Randy Fenoli, Sandals Resorts transformed Vanderbilt Hall into a tropical paradise to celebrate the launch of Your Wedding. Your Style., Sandals’ all-new destination wedding concept that allows couples to personally style and execute their dream wedding at Sandals Royal Bahamian and any one of Sandals’ other luxurious resorts dotted across the Caribbean.

Complete with refreshing Caribbean cocktails, island cuisine, spa pampering, virtual golf, trip giveaways and more, nearly 1,000 vacation-seeking New Yorkers and brides-to-be descended upon Grand Central to “Say I Do” to Sandals Resorts and experience an authentic taste of the Caribbean.

Toasting his new TLC show, Randy to the Rescue (premiering tonight, June 15), the event commenced with a live “Randy to the Rescue” experience where the famous gown guru met with consumers for complimentary “bridal blueprint” sessions, one-on-one bridal gown consultations and photos. The first 100 lucky attendees also received autographed copies of Randy’s new book ‘It's All About the Dress!’

Following the “Randy to the Rescue” experience, Vanderbilt Hall was inundated with a sea of brightly colored veils as nearly 50 brides-to-be gathered before the bridal expert to catch the bouquet for a chance to win their dream WeddingMoon® at one of Sandals Resorts’ 14 luxurious Caribbean resorts (7-day/6-night stay, valued at $8,000), as well as an elegant wedding dress and tuxedo from After Six Formalwear. Additionally in celebration of National Flag Day, Sandals Resorts partnered with the USO and invited deserving military couples to join the festivities for a chance to win. Local military couples who shared their personal love stories with Sandals were invited to participate in the “ultimate bouquet toss,” thrown by Randy Fenoli himself. Maria Yates, who traveled from Fort Dix, NJ with her husband Jason, a member of the U.S. Air Force, caught the bouquet and won the wedding of their dreams.

To express Sandals’ gratitude and sincere appreciation for the U.S. Military, Sandals’ Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart and CEO Adam Stewart took the stage and surprised all attending military couples with a much-needed, well-deserved 7-day/6-night tropical honeymoon of their own. “We’ve always supported the military at Sandals Resorts, and have been since the start of the Gulf War,” said Adam Stewart, CEO, Sandals Resorts International. “It is our absolute honor and privilege to surprise these deserving military couples with the honeymoons they so justly deserve, and we cannot wait to treat and pamper them as true VIPs real soon!”

The day culminated in a cocktail reception and bridal fashion show introducing Your Wedding. Your Style., Sandals’ new destination wedding concept that gives couples the customization options they crave, resulting in a truly personalized Caribbean wedding experience. Sandals Resorts’ CEO Adam Stewart and Director of Romance Marsha-Ann Brown unveiled the new offerings and Sandals’ innovative, new Online Destination Wedding Designer, a virtual planning tool that allows couples to personally style and design every aspect of their destination wedding online. Sandals brought the Online Destination Wedding Designer to life as models sashayed down the runway in vibrant, colorful gowns designed by Rubin Singer, symbolizing the customizable design options available through Sandals’ carefully curated style galleries, starting with the expanded color palette, décor, flowers and bespoke experiences and one-of-a-kind entertainment options available to Sandals’ brides.
