TWO members of the Board of Directors at the National Insurance Board resigned or are in the process of resigning their positions in order to use "confidential information" obtained to "sign contracts" with the NIB, an MP alleged yesterday.
In response to the claim, Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham, also Minister with responsibility for National Insurance, told the MP he would be meeting with the Chairman of the NIB that afternoon. Patrick Ward is the Chairman of the NIB Board at present.
The allegations were made by Golden Gates MP Shane Gibson in the House of Assembly during Opposition question time.
