Nassau, Bahamas - The
Bahamas Humane Society is the largest animal charity in the Bahamas and
the Oldest Charity in the Bahamas. In existence for over 70
years volunteers and staff alike have been working tirelessly to improve
the lives of animals in the Bahamas.
In addition to this we
respond to hundreds of cruelty complaints yearly, find homes for well
over 1200 cats and dogs every year, we run a 24 emergency
ambulance service, and provide the community with a reasonable priced
animal clinic. We hold spay and
neuter clinics and try and
instill the importance of responsible animal ownership to the general
