GENERAL SITUATION: A WEAK MID LEVEL TROUGH WILL REMAIN IN VICINITY OF THE SOUTHERN BAHAMAS THROUGH FRIDAY. MEANWHILE, AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE NORTH OF THE BAHAMAS WILL BRING PLEASANT CONDITIONS TO THE ISLANDS THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS IT DRIFTS EVER SO SLOWLY TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST. A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SNEAK INTO THE NORTHERN ISLANDS LATE SUNDAY EVENING AND SAG SOUTHWARD.
Thursday 3rd – Mostly Sunny, Breezy and Warm over the islands during the day except for some Cloudiness and a few Isolated Showers in the Southeast Bahamas; Maximum Temperature 85°F. Fair and Mild at night except for a Slight chance of Isolated Showers in the Southeast Bahamas; Minimum Temperature 72ºF. Winds E’LY 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas; Seas 3-5 feet over open waters. Winds NE-E 15-20 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas; Seas 4-6 feet over open waters. Small craft caution is in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
Friday 4th –Mostly Sunny and Warm during the day but remaining a tad Breezy in the Southeast Bahamas along with brief Isolated Showers; Maximum Temperature 83°F. Fair and Mild at night; Minimum Temperature 70°F. Winds NE-E 10-15 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; Seas 2-4 feet over open waters. Winds NE-E 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas; Seas 3-5 feet over open waters.
Saturday 5th – Mostly Sunny and Warm during the day with a slight chance of a stray Shower in the Southern Bahamas; Maximum Temperature 81°F. Fair and Mild at night; Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds N-NE 10 knots or less in the Northwest Bahamas occasionally light and variable at times; Seas 1-3 feet over open waters.
