Sentencing Hearing of Three Men Convicted of Murder Postponed

Fri, May 4th 2012, 09:32 AM

A judge yesterday deferred the sentencing hearing of three men convicted of murder at the request of the prosecution.  Senior Justice Jon Isaacs postponed the hearing to May 9 to allow the prosecutor, Anthony Delaney, time to review the psychiatric reports of the accused.  James Mombranche, 18, of Winder's Terrace; Ricardo Brown, 23, of Gilbert Street and Rodney Johnson, 19, of Garden Hills were found guilty of the February 26, 2011 shooting death of Charles Chrysotome.

The prosecution alleged that the men went to Chrysotome's apartment in Domingo Heights with the intention of robbing him.  Mombranche allegedly fired the fatal shot.  Terrell Butler, Shaka Serville and Calvin Seymour represent the defendants.
