 Edison Key FNM Free National Movement





Edison M. Key was born in Nassau, in May 1938. He attended Marsh Harbour Public School and later pursued further studies in mechanics, gas and electric welding and agriculture. Edison worked as a foreman with Sea Breeze Construction Company and, together with Morton Sawyer, launched Key and Sawyer Farms, which produced and exported fresh fruit to south eastern American markets. Mr Key entered the political arena in 1977, serving two terms as a senator and chairman of the Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation.

Gary Martin Sawyer was born to Martin and Lola Sawyer on 1st May, 1959 in Cherokee Sound, Abaco. As a Pentecostal, he attends the Church of God in Man-O-War Cay and is the proud father of two, daughter Crystal Eve Sawyer Albury and son Dylan Martin Sawyer. Mr. Sawyer has started numerous businesses that are still in operation throughout Abaco and other islands of The Bahamas. These businesses have provided employment for many Bahamians.

 

Roscoe Thompson DNA Democratic National Alliance





Roscoe W. Thompson III was born to Jill and Ross Thompson on September 1, 1971 and is the eldest of three sons. His early childhood schooling began at St. Andrew’s School in Nassau and from there he went on to graduate from high school in Georgia. His collegiate days were spent at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Roscoe’s employment began at Thompson Trading Company and later at Nassau Harbour Pilots. After leaving Harbour Pilots, he became an entrepreneur, opening a mini-mart on Paradise Island.
