Funeral service for Mother Melvina Kelly Brown, 89 yrs., a resident of Firetrail Road & formerly of Rolleville, Exuma, who died on 7th April, 2012, will be held at Mount Nebo Union Baptist Church, Marshall Road on Baillou Hill Road South, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Charles E. Rolle, assisted by other Ministers. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, JFK Drive.
Left to cherish her memories are her 2 Sons: Ivan Bowe and Rev. Rudolph Patrick Brown; Daughters in law: Eugyneel Bowe and Sheila Brown; 18 Grandchildren: Margareta, Janice, Bradley, Bruce, Brenden, Kirk, Wrescot, Cort and Chivarre Bowe, Kevin Thompson, Kaynet Pinder, Inspector Kendall and Megan Smith, Kimmy and Estelle Smith, Kayshell and Kevin Burrows, Kirk and Gia Smith, Anastasia, Sherika, and PJ Brown; Great-grandchildren: Jarrad Thompson, Shantique Miller, Levardo, Shekera and Lemond Deveaux, Whitney and Geovarney Pinder, Keshown, Javaughn, Kendal Jr., Kendanique and Kenva Smith, Kevanique Burrows, Katlyn, Elano and Kirk Smith, Shevaniques, Olivia and LJ Smith, Maverick Kevin Moxey, Jarrad Thompson Jr., Lavardo Deveaux and Chelsea Deveaux; Nieces and Nephews: Patricia Deveaux, Dr. Thomas Rolle, John W. Rolle, Etoy Bethel, Rev. Dr. John S. Rolle, Evangeline Fowler, Rev. Dr. Charles Rolle, Alice Rolle, Godfrey Rolle and Elder Vernnita Josey, Wellington, Leslie, Harcourt and David Rolle, Mabelean Hemmings, Norma Rolle, Mary Ann Rolle, Phyllis Kelly and Denise Clarke. A host of other relatives and including: Hervis Rolle and family, Mt. Nebo Union Baptist Church Family, Rev. Dr. William Thompson and Faith United Missionary Baptist Church Family, Ceyamae Sweeting and family, Althea Ferguson and Family.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
