
Nassau, Bahamas - The recent poll released by the Nassau Guardian has
added much speculation to the outcome of these upcoming elections. The
Democratic National Alliance (DNA), conceived 10 months ago, was not
anticipated to never be able to represent a "full party" and rumored to
be "dead on arrival" is now within striking range of the two political
forces that were once believed to be insurmountable giants of Bahamian
politics.
Regardless of questions regarding validity and accuracy of the poll, we
believe a lot can be determined from the data as it is presented. While
at first glance it appears to demonstrate a dead heat between the Free
National Movement and the Progressive Liberal Party, the following
