Funeral Service for Bernice Lillie Davis, age 88 years, of Sea Breeze Lane, formerly of Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, will be held on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, West Street. Officiating will be Father Glen C. Nixon. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Infant View Road.
Left to cherish her memories are her son: Dr. Ricardo (Rickey) Davis; her daughter: Betty Davis-Rolle; twenty-six grandchildren: Leslie Bethell, Linda Hunt, Clarissa Cooper, Debbie Deal, Dorothy Hunt, Wayne Hunt, Soma Dorsette-Smith, Cecil Dorsette Jr., Robert Dorsette, Orlando Davis, Devon Davis, Rex Davis Jr., Roxann Davis-Pratt, Ryan Davis, Jade Davis, Jermaine Davis, Jamaal Davis, Hermis Rolle Jr., Elliott Rolle, Krystal Rolle-Kemp, Ashley Rolle, Rishundolyn Davis, Shamareka Davis, Kanieshe Davis, Abdul Johnson and Shaynn Hall; thirty-five great grandchildren; two daughters-in-law: Nurse Kimberly Davis and Helena Hunt; one son-in-law: Cecil Dorsette Sr., eleven nephews: Dale, Anthony, Lewis, Jerry, Roscoe, Gerrad, Jeffery, Charles, Leroy, Harold Jr., and LeRoy; eleven nieces: Patricia, Henrietta, Sandra, Agatha, Bessimae, Normalee, Michelle, Emily, Christine, Rosie and Greta; numerous grand nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends including: Janey Bethel.
Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers' Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Friday March 9th, 2012, from 10:00 a.m until 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday March 10th, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
