BSF ratifies 36-member CARIFTA team

The Bahamas Swimming Federation (BSF) has ratified a 36-member 2012 Bahamas CARIFTA Swim Team, which is set to compete at the upcoming CARIFTA Swimming Championships, set to take place April 12-15, at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Aquatics Center.
The 2012 CARIFTA Championships is a FINA sanctioned Olympic qualifier for the London Olympics, and will see the best age group swimmers from the region go head-to-head in four days of exciting action.
Algernon Cargill, president of the Bahamas Swimming Federation, said: "We have ratified an excellent team of young people who are all committed to representing The Bahamas at home. The team is comprised of a variety of veterans and first time and returning swimmers and we expect great things from this team. We continue to encourage Corporate Bahamas to step forward and provide assistance to the federation to host this event in The Bahamas."
The team members are Celia Campbell, Jasmine Gibson, Margaret Higgs, Keitra Lloyd, Zoe McCarroll, Megan Reid, Tremaine Allen, Leslie Campbell, Joanna Evans, Doran Reed, Simone Sturrup, Andreas Weech, Alaena Carey, Bria Deveaux, Abigail Lowe, Laura Morley, Je'Nae Saunders and Taryn Smith on the girls side; and Miller Albury, Clement Bowe, Nicholas Rahming, Joshua Roberts, Alec Sands, Drew Bastian, Dionisio Carey, Farion Cooper, Gershwin Greene, Zach Moses, Meshach Roberts, Evante Gibson, Anibal Hernandez-Valdes, Keith Lloyd, Matthew Lowe, Toby McCarroll, T'Auren Moss and Dustin Tynes on the boys side.
