The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation continues its efforts in recognizing students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement, leadership ability, and community involvement.
“Education is crucial for further development of our country. We’re proud to join forces with organizations like this one to give young Bahamians opportunities that they may not otherwise have.” stated Donnisha Armbrister, Marketing Manager Caribbean Bottling Co. Ltd. The Foundation annually presents each primary school in New Providence, Grand Bahama and the Family Islands with an application package to nominate one deserving student for national recognition.
The awards ceremony is a celebration of the successes of students, and also an acknowledgement of the invaluable role that devoted teachers and parents play in molding the future of these children. This year’s award ceremony is scheduled for May 17th, 18th and 19th.
