Court: Work on Blue Hill Rd., Market St. to continue

The Court of Appeal yesterday ordered road work on Blue Hill Road and Market Street to resume.
Attorney General John Delaney argued the government's appeal against the stoppage of the works in compliance with an injunction, which was granted by Justice Neville Adderley on August 13. Delaney told the appellate tribunal that stopping the work at this stage of the project benefitted no one, as the roads were still dug up and were impassable on one side. He said that drainage is still incomplete and the country is still in the rainy season.
