At the very heart of
the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) is the mission "to create
a better world through education". At the heart of the Stephen Dillet
community service program is a group of caring young people. Some of
that care has been developed by being a student in Lyford Cay
International School (LCIS), where as an IB school, becoming an active,
compassionate, life-long learner is the focus.  

The Stephen Dillet community service
program at LCIS caters to students in fourth to sixth grade at Stephen
Dillet primary school. The program initially started as a result of a
social need that was identified and met by a group of caring parents
