Nassau, Bahamas - For his solo exhibition entitled

'LIFE after LIFE', internationally
acclaimed artist 

Lavar Munroe will transform the walls of  the Central
Bank of The Bahamas into a suggestive environment which will examine
human existence; past, present and future. Beliefs and practices both
religious and secular, that have survived from generation to generation
make up the majority of his images.

Also adorning the walls of the bank will
be exploratory works influenced by  today's digital innovations and the
ever changing technology of making and distributing art in a
contemporary society.

The opening reception will be on Wednesday,

1st September 2010 at 6pm at
The Central Bank of The Bahamas. The exhibit will run through October
