Outback brand back in bush

OUTBACK Steakhouse's principal has stuck a fork in the business and severed ties with the franchisor, telling Tribune Business yesterday that he has decided to focus on his Kafe Kalik endeavours at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) and a possible second concession.

Tyrone Nabbie said he was in negotiations with the landlord at the former Outback Seakhouse location east of the Paradise Island bridge to possibly redevelop the space. However, he said he has not pinned down what the space will become.
