GRAND BAHAMA NEAR END OF 'DARK HOUR'

GRAND Bahama could be going through the final stages of its "dark hour", according to the

president of its Chamber of Commerce, who expressed optimism that the island's struggling economy would make a strong come-back heading into 2013.

"This is the final stage of the dark hour, and I believe at the end of the year going into 2013, there should be some significant turnaround in the economy in Grand Bahama. I think Grand Bahama would be coming back strong very soon," John Swain said in an interview with Tribune Business.
