Police in New Providence removed both a shotgun and a handgun from the streets of New Providence.According to police reports sometime around 10:30 am on Wednesday 11th January, 2012 officers of the Northeastern Division acting on information proceeded to an apartment complex at Wulff Road, east of Kemp Road where they uncovered a handgun along with a quantity of ammunition.

A short while later around 2:00 pm officers of the Mobile Division acting on information uncovered a shotgun, along with a quantity of shotgun shells in bushes at the rear of the Baillou Hills, Sporting Complex. No one was taken into custody in both matters.
